Edwin Toone IV

Edwin is an internationally published photographer who has shown his work in the US and Spain.  His desire to bring the story home and share it with the world has lead him to a career as a freelance photographer.

Some of Edwin’s recent jobs have included covering the 3rd annual Paradise Weekend (a series of bike messenger races held at night in Barcelona) for COG magazine, shooting all of the photography for the web site of imensajeros and shooting the still photography and “making of” for the film “The Frost” shot in the spring of 2008.

Edwin has a passion for adventure, a desire to make things better and a strong sense of compassion that he takes with him whenever he steps out with his camera.  He plans to continue working with the film industry and would like to work on more socially minded photography in the future.

Edwin has extensive travel experience including Honduras, Mexico, Guatemala, Costa Rica, India, the US and Europe.  He has a degree in Sociology from Elon University and has previously worked as a social worker, an Outward Bound Instructor, Teacher of Children with learning disabilities and a content manager for a start-up social networking website.

He currently lives in Barcelona, Spain and is available for local and international assignments.
